Troubleshooting
When you cannot turn on the device
• E nsure that the battery is inserted. (p. 9)
• C harge the battery.
When you cannot take photos or videos
• Y our storage may be full. Delete unnecessary files, or insert a new memory card.
• F ormat the memory card.
• T he memory card may be defective. Purchase a new card.
• E nsure that the device is turned on.
• C harge the battery.
• E nsure that the battery is inserted.
When the flash is not functional
• P ress the flash release to pop the flash up.
• T he flash option may be set to Off. (p. 38)
• I n some modes, the flash is disabled.
When the flash fires unexpectedly
The flash may fire unexpectedly due to static electricity. The device is not malfunctioning.
When the colours in the photo do not match the actual scene
Select an appropriate white balance option to suit the light source. (p. 42)
