When the following error messages appear, try these remedies.

Check the lens.

Suggested remedies
• Turn off your camera, and then turn it on
again.
• Remove your memory card, and then insert
it again.
• Format your memory card. (p. 105)
Unlock the memory card.
File names do not match the DCF standard.
Transfer the files on the memory card to your
computer and format the card. (p. 105)
Delete the damaged file or contact a service
center.
Insert a charged battery or recharge the battery.
Delete unnecessary files or insert a new memory
card.
Take photos or insert a memory card that has
some photos.
Check whether dust or foreign substances
between Lens contacts and Lens mount index.
Remove either dust or foreign substances if dirt
or foreign substances are appeared. Please be
care for avoid getting dirt foreign substances
inside the camera.
Turn off the camera, remove the lens, and then
mount the lens again.
Turn off the camera, remove the battery, and
then insert it again.
