Add A Contact - Samsung SPH-D710 Online User's Manual

: Displays options for viewing contacts,
Settings
including whether to show only contacts with
phone numbers and whether to list or display by
first name or last name. There is also an option to
select how contacts are transferred to another
device, either individually or as a full group.

Add a Contact

You can add contacts directly from the Contacts
application. Enter details such as name, phone
number(s), email address, mailing address, and more.
1.
Press and tap
Contacts list.
2.
Tap (at the top of the screen).
3.
Tap a destination type (
Exchange ActiveSync
displays.
Note:
You must establish a Google or Exchange ActiveSync
account to select a destination.

Tap the picture icon to assign a picture to this
entry. There are three selections:
70 2E. Contacts
to display the
Contacts
Phone , Google , or Microsoft

: Retrieves a stored image from your

Gallery or from My files folder and assigns it to
this entry. Tap an image to assign the image to
the contact, then tap

After you take a picture, you are prompted to Save
and Crop the picture before assigning it to the
contact.
: Although not an option with a new entry,
Remove
deletes any previously assigned image in an
existing contact entry.
5. Tap the field and use the onscreen keyboard

to enter the full name.
