Exposure Compensation When
Shooting With A Flash (Safety FE)
The camera automatically changes the shutter speed or aperture value
when the flash fires to avoid overexposing and blowing out the highlights in
the scene.
In M and B shooting modes, set [Flash Mode] to [Auto] in advance
(p. 97).
Select [Flash Settings].
Press the n button, select [Flash
Settings] from the 4 tab and press the
m button.
Make the setting.
Press the op buttons or turn the  dial
to select [Safety FE], then press the qr
buttons to select [On] or [Off].
