Limiting the volume (AVLS (Volume Limit))

You can set AVLS (Automatic Volume Limiter System) to limit the maximum volume to prevent
auditory issues or distractions such as leaking noise at high volume, oppressive feeling in the
ear, and danger from blocking outside sounds.
AVLS is set to off by default.
Note
The AVLS setting is available only while playback is paused.
1. Turn on your "WALKMAN."
2. Press and hold the
OPR lamp lights in orange.
The OPR lamp turns off when you release the
lamp blinks green twice and AVLS is set to on.
The volume is kept to a moderate level.
To return the AVLS setting to off, repeat steps 1 to 2. When AVLS is set to off, the OPR lamp
blinks red twice in step 2.
