Viewing topic markers in a book

You can view markers in a book that show where table of contents topics link.
To see markers for table of contents topics in a book:
m Choose Show Indicators from the Format menu.
To hide the markers, choose Hide Indicators from the Format menu.

Adding topics automatically

You can have the Newton Press application automatically add a topic to the
table of contents each time you import a file into your book. The application
will add a single entry using the file name of the imported file. You can edit
and change this topic later if you want. For more information about setting
the application to add a table of contents topic for an imported file, see
Chapter 7, "Setting Preferences."
You can select and edit the topics in the Table of Contents window.
You can also change a topic's level in the table of contents.
To edit a topic or change its level in the Table of Contents window:
Click the Overview button on the Newton Press screen to open the Table of Contents
window.
Select and edit the topics you want to change, or drag it left or right, or choose the Move
Topic Left or Move Topic right commands in the Book menu to change the topic's level.
