Using tabs

To change text alignment:
Click the paragraph or select the paragraphs that you want to align.
Choose Align Left, Align Center, or Align Right from the Format menu.
You can set tabs for your text to create lists and tables of information. When
you choose Show Tabs from the Format menu, the Tab window appears. You
use this window to set tabs for the currently selected text. To see the tab
markers for a specific paragraph, click the paragraph.
When you add text from another application to a book document, Newton
Press preserves tab spacing, if possible. After adding text, you can select it
and adjust the tab spacing.
Click here to add a new marker.
Drag the marker left or right to
reposition it.
