Alerts Set
Your phone gives audible alerts (beeps) at a specified
time to inform you that certain things have happened.
The available alerts are:
Service: When this menu option set to On, the phone
sounds an alert when you exit your service area or when
you return to the service area.
Connect: When this menu option set to On, the phone
sounds the connect tone when your call is connected to
the system.
Disconnect: When this menu option set to On, the
phone sounds the disconnect tone when a call is
disconnected.
Power On/Off: When this menu option set to On, the
phone sounds an alert when your phone switched on
and off.
Privacy: When this menu option set to On, the phone
sounds an alert when you lose a private encrypted
CDMA line.

your battery faster.
The following options are available:
Always Off: The backlight is not used.
7 (15/30) Seconds: The backlight comes on when you
press a key or receive a call and switches off 7(15/30)
seconds after the last key is pressed.
Always On: The backlight remains on while the phone
is on.
