General Text Entry Rules
Press a number key repeatedly to cycle through its
characters. See the "Character Chart" on page 30.
Press a number
key as many
times as
necessary to
enter desired
character at
flashing cursor
location.
Press and hold a
number key to
cycle between
text and numeric
entry methods.
• If you do not press a key for 2 seconds, the character
in the block cursor is accepted, and the cursor moves
to the next position.
To
store the text when you are
finished
Msg:
CANCEL BROWSE
Change letter in
block cursor to
uppercase or
lowercase.
Move flashing
cursor to left or
right in text
message.
