Intel Desktop Board DQ35JO Technical Product Specification
1.14.1.2 ENERGY STAR*
In 2007, the US Department of Energy and the US Environmental Protection Agency
revised the ENERGY STAR* requirements. Intel has worked directly with these two
governmental agencies to define the new requirements. Intel Desktop Boards will
meet the new requirements depending on system configuration.

Table 9 lists the devices or specific events that can wake the computer from specific
states.

Notes:
1.
For LAN and PME# signal, S5 is disabled by default in the BIOS Setup program. Setting this option to
Power On will enable a wake-up event from LAN in the S5 state.
2.
Wake from S4 and S5 is optional by the specification.
NOTE
The use of these wake-up events from an ACPI state requires an operating system
that provides full ACPI support. In addition, software, drivers, and peripherals must
fully support ACPI wake events.
