Editing text

It's easy to cut, copy, and paste text using the keyboard.
Some apps may offer their own way of selecting or copying text.
Selecting text
Highlight the text that you want to copy or cut.
1. Do one of the following:
Select a word. Press and hold the word. If you've selected the

wrong word, drag the markers to the correct word.
Select a phrase or sentence. Press and hold the first word of
§
the phrase or sentence that you want to select and then drag
the end marker to the rest of the text.
Select all text. Press and hold on a word, and then tap Select
§
all to select all text in the field.
2. After highlighting the text, lift your finger.
Copying and pasting text
1. After you have selected the text you want to copy, tap Copy or
Cut. The selected text is then copied to the clipboard.
2. Press and hold a text field in the same or other app until the
magnifier appears.
