3.1.1 TAWS WARNING
Red annunciator and aural "PULL UP":
Autopilot ...................................................................................... DISCONNECT
Aircraft Controls ............................. INITIATE MAXIMUM POWER CLIMB
Airspeed ..................................................... BEST ANGLE OF CLIMB SPEED
After Warning Ceases:
Power .................................................................... MAXIMUM CONTINUOUS
Altitude .................................... CLIMB AND MAINTAIN SAFE ALTITUDE
Advise ATC of Altitude Deviation, if appropriate.
Only vertical maneuvers are recommended, unless either operating in visual
meteorological conditions (VMC), or the pilot determines, based on all available
information, that turning in addition to the escape maneuver is the safest course of
