In a single motion, touch and drag the Status bar
downward to display the Notifcations panel, then touch
(Samsung account).
2. Tap Sign in if you previously created a Samsung
account.

Tap Create new account if this is the first Sign in.
3. Tap Terms and conditions to read the legal disclaimers
and related information.
4. Tap the I accept all the terms above field and tap Agree
if you agree to the terms. A check mark indicates
acceptance of the terms.
5. Enter your the required information and tap Sign up.
Note: You may be prompted to confirm your credentials in an
email.
6. Verify your account via email by accessing the email
address provided during setup and following the steps
outlined to complete your registration.

If you have already setup your email account on the
phone, tap Go to Mailbox and follow the on-screen
instructions.

Tap Activate account If you already verified your email
address.
7. Confirm that the Samsung account icon is not
displayed in the Notifications area at the top of the
screen.
Important! Without confirming your email address and
following the documented procedures, related
applications will not function properly since it is the
Samsung account that manages username and
password access.

Creating a New Google Account

In order to utilize your phone to the fullest extent, you will
need to create a Google™ Account when you first use your
phone. With a Google Account, Google applications will
always be in sync between your phone and computer.
