1. Check t hatallparts arenow installed. Ifthere isanextra part,
goback through t hesteps toseewhich step wasskipped.
2. Check t hatyouhave allofyour t ools.
3. Dispose of/recycle allpackaging materials.
4. Check t hattherange i slevel. See "Level Range."
5. Use a mild solution o fliquid household cleaner and warm
water t oremove waxy residue caused b yprotective shipping
material. Dry thoroughly withasoftcloth. F or m ore
information,
read the"Range C are" s ection o ftheUse and
Care Guide.
6. Read "Range U se" i ntherange U se andCare Guide.
7. Plug power cordintoappropriate outlet. Turn power on.
8. Turn onsurface b urners andoven. See theUseand Care
Guide f orspecific i nstruction onrange o peration.
If range does not operate, check the following:
Household fuse is intact and tight; or circuit breaker has not
tripped.
Range is plugged into an outlet.
Electrical supply is connected.
See "Troubleshooting"
in the Use and Care Guide.
When the range has been on for 5 minutes, check for heat. If
range is cold, turn off the range and contact a qualified
technician.
rip Over Hazard
A chimd or adumt can tip the range and be killed.
Connect anti=tip bracket to rear range foot.
Reconnect
the anti=tip bracket,
if the range is moved.
Faimure to follow these instructions
can result in death
or serious burns to chimdren and adumts.
When moving range, slide range onto cardboard or hardboard to
avoid damaging the floor covering.
If removing the range is necessary for cleaning or maintenance:
For power supply cord-connected
ranges:
1. Unplug the power supply cord.
2. Slide range forward to complete cleaning or maintenance.
3. Check that anti-tip bracket is installed:
Look for the anti-tip bracket securely attached to floor.
Slide range back so rear range foot is under anti-tip
bracket.
4. Check that range is level.
For direct-wired ranges:
Electricam Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing,
Replace aimparts and panels before operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or emectrical shock.
1. Disconnect
power.
2. Disconnect
wiring.
3. Slide range forward to complete cleaning or maintenance.
4. Check that anti-tip bracket is installed:
Look for the anti-tip bracket securely attached to floor.
Slide range back so rear range foot is under anti-tip
bracket.
5. Check that range is level.
