    Make sure to switch off myTouch 4G Slide before removing the back cover. 1. Turn off myTouch 4G Slide and hold it securely with the front facing down. 2. Lift the back cover from the notch at the bottom of the back panel to remove it.

    Getting started Replacing the back cover 1. Press the top part of the back cover against the exposed back panel. 2. Press the sides of the back cover against the phone and make sure that there are no gaps. You’ll hear several clicks as you press the back cover to indicate that it is being secured in place.

A thin film is inserted between the battery and the compartment. You need to remove this film before you can charge the battery.

    Notification LED The notification LED shows a: § Solid green light when myTouch 4G Slide is connected to the power adapter or a computer and the battery is fully charged. § Flashing green light when you have a pending notification.
