Preparing for Installation
This chapter introduces tan overview of the prerequisites for successful vShield installation.

System Requirements
Before installing vShield in your vCenter Server environment, consider your network configuration and
resources. You can install one vShield Manager per vCenter Server, one vShield App per ESX™ host, and one
vShield Edge per port group.
To install vShield, you must meet the following requirements:
