Using the Answer Machine

Delete recorded messages

1 Tap Program Launcher > AnswerMachine.
2 Tap Play to start playback of the message.
3 To delete the current playback message, tap on the
4 To delete all old recorded messages, tap DELETE ALL at the DTAM menu.
5 There will be a voice and a message notification once all the old messages have been
deleted.

Memo Recording

You can record a memo that can be played back later. This is a useful function if you wish
to leave a message for other users of the iHome Phone.
A memo will be played back along with the other recorded messages from external callers.
1 Tap Program Launcher > AnswerMachine.
2 Tap .
3 Record the memo message you wish to leave for other users of the iHome Phone
when prompted.
4 Tap when you are done recording the memo message you wish to leave behind.
5 The Digital Answer Machine will playback your memo once for you to confirm all
essential information has been captured.

Outgoing Message Setting

External callers are greeted with an outgoing message when the call is answered by the
Digital Answer Machine.
The Digital Answer Machine has pre-recorded default messages for this purpose. You can
also record a personalized outgoing message for this greeting.
9.8.1 Select OGM Option
You can set the Digital Answer Machine to greet unanswered calls with either an Answer
and Record OGM or Answer OGM. With the Answer and Record OGM, callers will be
asked to leave a message after the prompt. However, for the Answer OGM, callers will be
asked to call back and no message will be recorded.
1 Tap Program Launcher > AnswerMachine.
