ACTsmart2 system
Product Overview
ACTsmart2 System allows easy configuration and
maintenance of the ACTsmart2 devices. It consists
of a Windows PC application (ACTWin Smart), the
ACTsmart2 controller unit and a cable to connect
the controller to the PC. The ACTsmart2 devices
are available as Proximity, PIN and Proximity and
PIN only. For cards and fobs for the ACTsmart2
System, please use ACTProx cards and fobs
(see our Ordering Section for further details).

reader and no other controller other than the
ACTsmart2 controller is required
The ACTsmart2 system is strictly an access control

system. Please review the comparison chart on the
reverse side of this leaflet to ensure it is suitable for
customer's requirements
The maximum cabling distance between the PC

and the Smart2 controller is 30 metres
The maximum network cabling for the readers
●
is 1.4km of twisted screen pair or category 5
The controller, readers etc require a 12volt
