Bad source file. Try listening to the problem music file on your PC to determine if it is
the source of noise or distortion. This can easily happen when you are ripping music from
an audio CD.
QuickTime
audio setting. If you set up StreamPoint to access your Apple
®
and have enabled "Local PC Playback While Streaming" in StreamPoint Settings, you
need to change a default setting in QuickTime to prevent poor audio quality:
Launch the QuickTime player.
On the Edit menu, point to Preferences, and then click QuickTime Preferences to
display the QuickTime Settings dialog box.
Click the Audio tab.
Under Devices, select the "Safe Mode (waveOut only)" check box.

Noisy USB connection. If your USB Music Transmitter is connected to a USB port on
the front panel of your PC, try connecting it instead to the back of the PC. (Front panel
USB ports are often wired to the PC motherboard using inexpensive and noisy cabling.) If
the transmitter is connected to a USB hub or extender, try plugging it directly into the PC
instead.
