PLAY
In this setting, the display shows you the current program number. This is the mode you should choose
for typical live performances, as it allows you to switch programs easily via the foot pedals.
COMP/LIMIT (Compressor/Limiter)
TYPE (guitar modeling)

Indicates the bank letter and program number of the current program.
Compression.
Adds sustain and smoothness by lowering the dynamic range.
Limiting.
Retains the original volume, but smoothes out the loudest peaks.
Off.
Turns COMP/LIMIT off.
Clean.
The clean, natural sound of a quality acoustic guitar.
Warm.
A dark, deep sound typical of guitars made of dense rosewood or
mahogany.
Bright.
Accentuates the higher frequencies for a crisp sound usually found
in acoustics with smaller bodies.
Rhythm.
A full, warm sound that's great for strumming rhythm parts.
Jumbo.
Provides a little more low-end for that sound associated with
large-body acoustics.
Drive.
Adds a crunch to your acoustic sound, as if you're playing through
a tube amplifier and pushing the gain. Higher values mean more
drive.
Off.
Turns off DIST.
