If you intend to deploy a patch or upgrade directly into a production
enviroment, the your best method for updating your profiles is to do
one of the following:
• Monitor the system frequently to determine if any new rejections
should be added to the profile and update as needed using logprof.
For detailed instructions, refer to " Logprof" o n p a g e6 1 .
• Run the profiling tools to learn the new behavior (high security risk
as all accesses will be allowed but logged). For step-by-step
instructions, refer to " Update Profiles From Syslog Entries" o n
page 33.
