STEP 1. Inside the prepared hole, create a solid cement base that will support the Parklio Bollard. Ensure that the base is perfectly level and stable to maintain proper bollard alignment and operation. Place the sewer at an angle of 10°, as depicted in Section A of the diagram below.
Page 19
STEP 4. Make sure no debris, dirt, or foreign objects fall inside of the bollard protecting the space using a piece of cloth, paper, or other material to create a seal between the stainless steel tube and the PVC pipe.
Page 20
Section B of the diagram below. STEP 6. Put the bollard cover back in place and complete the installation by pouring a concrete layer around the bollard for long-term stability, as illustrated in Section C of the diagram.
Page 21
STEP 9. Mount the control box in close proximity to the bollard, ensuring it is installed at least 20 cm above the ground level. For distances exceeding 10 meters between the control box and the bollard, a 2.25 mm power cable is required.

In some cases, a special support frame may be necessary. The roof installation of solar modules may affect the fireproofing of the house construction. _______________________________________________________________________ www.parklio.com info@parklio.com +385977247276...
Page 28
If the support frame is made of metal, the surface of the frame must be electro- plated and have excellent conductivity. We recommend the lay-in lug when grounding (Cat. No. GBL4-DBT is recommended by the producer). _______________________________________________________________________ www.parklio.com info@parklio.com +385977247276...

/ AWG 10 cable for connecting the PV panels in series and to the junction box. For connecting the Load output to the Parklio bollard, it is recommended to use at least 2.5m m2 / AWG 14 wire. The wire diameter may vary depending on the installation distance of the PV panels to the Junction box and the Junction box to the Parklio bollard.

Torque the battery, load, and PV connections at 0.75 Nm. The Parklio Solar kit comes with pre-wired batteries and charging circuitry. The installer must connect the PV panels to the Junction box, the load output to the Parklio bollard, and ground the Junction Box and PV.
Page 33
Then connect the Photovoltaic panel negative lead to the SOLAR - input of the Junction box and the panel positive lead to the SOLAR + input of the junction box. Connect the Load of the Junction box to the Parklio bollard. After all connections are made, inspect the connections, then turn on the Battery disconnect switch.

Unlocking Steps STEP 1. Locate the manual release slot on the surface of the bollard. ( Figure 8.1. ) STEP 2. Insert the key into the slot and turn it clockwise to disengage the bollard’s locking mechanism ( Figure 8.2 ).
Page 41
EMERGENCY USE GUIDELINES ➔ During a power outage, the bollard relies on a backup battery, which can perform only one maneuver (open or close). Avoid using the bollard further until the 230V power supply is restored, as the battery is meant strictly for emergencies.
Page 42
. Avoid unauthorized repairs to prevent damage or voiding the warranty. Inspect the bollard periodically (every 6 months) for signs of wear or damage. Check for obstructions, dirt buildup, or blockages around the moving components. Regularly inspect the control box for any signs of moisture, dust, or damage that could impair its functionality.
Page 43
For solar bollard systems, ensure that photovoltaic panels, batteries, and associated components are disposed of in accordance with specific regulations for electronic and hazardous waste. Batteries may contain substances that are harmful to the environment and require disposal at certified recycling facilities.
