Setting up ActiveSync

Connect your phone to your computer. The
Synchronization Setup Wizard automatically starts.
Click Next to proceed.

To sync your phone with your computer, clear the
Synchronize directly with a server running Microsoft
Exchange check box, then click Next.

Select the information types that you want to sync,
then click Next.

Select or clear the Allow wireless data connections
check box according to your preference.

Click Finish.
Setting up Windows Mobile Device Center

Connect your phone to your computer. Windows
Mobile Device Center configures itself, then opens.

On the license agreement screen, click Accept.

On the Windows Mobile Device Center's Home screen,
click Set up your device.

Select the items you want to sync and then click Next.
Enter a name for your phone and then click Set Up.

15. Factory resetting

Need to start over? If you're passing your phone on to
someone else or just want a fresh start, you can factory
reset your phone. It's not a step to be taken lightly.
Factory resetting your phone will delete all your data,
including any applications you've downloaded and
installed. It returns the phone to the state it was in before
the first time you turned it on.
Be sure to back up any data that you want to keep
before you factory reset your phone.
