Sony BDV-IS1000/C - Blu-ray Disc™ Dvd/home Theater System Firmware Update

In 2008, Sony plans to issue a product update for BDV-IT1000ES/BDV-IS1000 which will enable the BD-Live function of
packaged Blu-ray Disc media.
This enhancement will be delivered to your player over the internet through the network download service or, if you prefer, by
a disc-based update.
After the update, you can enjoy additional contents and services while you are playing a BD-Live capable disc but please note:
for the network update and BD-Live to function a broadband internet connection is required, and certain BD-Live content and
services may require local storage. Please refer to " Inserting the external memory" and " Connecting to the network" of
"Step 3: Connecting the System" in the operating instructions for more information.

In order to register, you will need to have your BDV-IT1000ES/BDV-IS1000 serial number close at hand.
The 7-digit serial number can be found  on the rear panel of the unit or  on the side of the carton.
