Audi is no stranger to victory at Le Mans – we've
won the legendary 24-hour race 8 times in 10
years. Our greatest triumph came on 18 June
2006, when we became the first manufacturer
ever to win Le Mans with a diesel car.
The theory was simple but it made the
technology extremely efficient: we injected
exactly the right amount of fuel and air into the
engine's combustion chambers, which resulted
in less wastage and fewer pitstops. Now we've
produced a range of very special 'Le Mans'
A6 models which use the same remarkably
efficient TDI and FSI technology that has been
integral to our recent Le Mans victories.
Unlike the race-winning R10, however,
this model comes complete with the
