1. Speed Adjustment Knob
Turn the speed adjustment knob to adjust minimum
fan speed.
HOW TO ADJUST THE MFS
When adjusting the MFS for the first time, read these instructions carefully and follow the different steps in the order described.
INTERNAL ADJUSTMENTS
Proceed as follows to internally adjust the minimum speed:
• Turn knob 1 to MIN position.
• Use internal adjustment 2 to set the minimum speed. It should be set at the speed required to slightly open the dampers or at the minimum
speed allowed for the type of fan being used. The purpose of this internal adjustment is to lock the fan speed when it reaches a lower limit.
This prevents operating the fan beneath this limit should knob 1 be accidentally misused.
EXTERNAL ADJUSTMENTS
Use knob 1 to adjust the speed
• The MIN position on knob 1 corresponds to the minimum speed
previously set using knob 2. Knob 1 is useful for temporary
adjustments that may vary daily. For example, the minimum speed
will need to be adjusted to ensure sufficient air flow depending on
the size and number of animals and on the outdoor temperature.
• Slowly turn knob 1 clockwise until the fan runs at the desired speed.

2. Minimum Speed Internal Adjustment
Use the internal adjustment to set the speed corresponding to
the 0 position of the minimum speed adjustment knob 1. The
minimum speed should be adjusted to the speed required to
slightly open the dampers. However, it should never be below
the minimum speed allowed for the type of fan being used.
3. 50 Hz/60 Hz Jumper
Position the jumper horizontally over the two pins corresponding
to the frequency desired (top - 50 Hz; bottom - 60 Hz).
