About This Guide

This guide explains how to migrate a Red Hat Certificate System 7.1, 7.2, and 7.3 deployment to
a Red Hat Certificate System 8.0. Installation and administration topics are covered in the Red Hat
Certificate System Administrator's Guide, while processing certificate requests and other aspects of
managing the certificate lifecycle is covered in Certificate System Agent's Guide and using smart cards
is covered in the Managing Smart Cards with the Enterprise Security Client. For more information on
