Before First Use Formatting the Memory Card: Before inserting the microSD card into the dash camera, format it using a computer. Formatting ensures compatibility and optimises performance. Installation Turn off the vehicle engine before installation. Insert a high-speed microSD card (Class 10 or above, minimum 16GB) into the memory card slot. Format the memory card using the dash camera before first use. Peel the adhesive backing from the camera and attach it securely to the vehicle's central windshield.

Attach the AV out connector of the rear camera to the ‘AV’ port of the dash camera, then route the black cable of the rear camera through the body of your vehicle to the rear of it. 10. Incorrect installation angles may reduce detection accuracy and increase the likelihood of false alarms. Always adjust the camera to a level position, aligned horizontally with the road and centred to avoid obstruction or misdetection. The angle is too low, limiting the field of view. The angle is too high, reducing the visibility of nearby objects.

Video Playback While the dash camera is powered on, press the Power button to enter playback mode and review recorded videos. Gravity Sensing (G-Sensor) The built-in G-Sensor detects vehicle collisions and automatically locks the corresponding video file to prevent it from being overwritten. A lock icon will be displayed on the screen when a file is locked.
Charging the Dash Camera When plugged into an external power source, a charging icon will appear in the top right corner of the screen. The icon will flash while the device is charging. Screen Timer (Power Saving Mode) The dash camera can automatically turn off its display to conserve power. This can be adjusted in the Screen Saver menu, with the following options: Off, 1 minute, 3 minutes, or 5 minutes.

Bumper Collision Warning (BCW) Issues a warning if you are driving at a constant speed and the distance to the vehicle in front becomes less than 2 meters. Lane Departure Warning (LDW) Monitors your vehicle's position within the lane. App Installation The dash camera features a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot that allows users to transfer videos and photos directly to their smartphone. Note: This Wi-Fi connection is for file transfer only and does not provide internet access. To use this function, first install the ‘ONREAL’ app on your smartphone.
