Introduction

i!-PCLink/Web™ is an application for Microsoft© Windows that integrates a NetLinx control
system with the files on the computer. By installing i!-PCLink/Web, a NetLinx system can take
control of your computer by allowing you to browse for files and open them in their associated
applications. For instance, on a touch panel, you can navigate to a directory containing Microsoft©
Word documents. If you then select the file and press open, Microsoft© Word will be launched on
the computer and that file will open. You can open any file type by simply selecting it. You can also
open your internet browser and open any web site directly simply by telling i!-PCLink/Web which
site to open. i!-PCLink/Web also has the ability to send keyboard input and control other
applications windows running on the system. i!-PCLink/Web is an ideal solution for developing
kiosk based systems or any NetLinx solution that must interact with a PC.
