Introduction
The Australian Monitor Installation Series DI1 is a passive direct injection
box that features a balanced XLR output, a 6.35 mm TRS through output, 3
stage pad offering up to 40dB of attenuation & a ground lift switch for
hum elimination. As part of the AMIS Contractor Tools range, the AMIS DI1
is an inexpensive passive DI that is integral to a wide variety of installations.

Description

• 6.35mm TRS Jack Input: This will accept balanced or unbalanced
signals from a program source or instrument.
• 6.35mm TRS Jack Thru Output: This balanced output allows for a
direct output link to an instrument amplifier.
• 3 Stage input Pad: This 3 stage switch allows 0dB, 20dB or 40dB of
input attenuation so differing sources can accommodated.
• GND Lift Switch: When this switch is in "ground" position pin1 of both
the input & the output are connected. When this switch is in "lift"
position these grounds are separated. This switch is used to
eliminate hum that may be present.
• Balanced XLR Output: This balanced XLR output is for connection to
a mixing console, signal processor etc.
