SETUP INSTRUCTIONS - SHIELDING AND DEFLECTORS Bush Hog BH10 Series models as shipped from the factory, have all Shielding and Deflectors in place. Dealer should inspect to make sure that all Safety Shielding and Deflectors are in place and fasteners are tight.
ASSEMBLY BUSH HOG SQUEALER SLIP CLUTCHES Bush Hog BH10 Series Rotary Cutters come with Comer driveshafts with slip clutches installed. While these clutches are similar, the spring length settings are different. Refer to Figure AsmP-R-0523 below to help identity which brand of clutch you are adjusting. Comer castings have centrally located holes through them.

2. With tractor at idle speed, engage tractor PTO drive for 2-3 seconds. Clutch should lip without turning blades. If clutch does not slip, contact your authorized Bush Hog dealer. 3. Retighten nuts to within 1/64” of original position. Initial spring length is shown in Figure Mnt-R-0475.
