Battery Replacement Battery The 4000 series ohmmeters are battery operated, the batteries may be easily and quickly replaced, the 5 AA cells are housed in a cassette and either manganese oxide or NiMHd rechargeable types may be used. - Page 8 Disposal of Batteries Care should be taken when disposing of the batteries, they may be returned to Cropico carriage paid for safe disposal. Any regulations and directions applying to the disposal of such material must be applied. Do not dispose of battery in fire.
