So World TV is a Full HD (1080p) personal digital video recorder with a HD TV tuner which is MKV (H264) compatible and has an HDMI 1.3 input/output. It is easy to use thanks to its LCD screen and, the So World TV is accessible via the network (LAN) offering you access to all the data (music, photos, videos) stored in your computer and your memory card (SDHC flash card reader). -

Plug the yellow connector into the AV output of the So World TV and AV input of your TV, and plug the red and white connector into the audio input of TV or HIFI. Turn on the TV and select AV mode. Turn on the So World TV and the TV displays the interface of initiation. -
Page 7: Connection Methods To Watch Tv And General Use
Step 1:The ANT IN (1) interface must have a DVB-T (TNT) digital TV signal input, and the other interface LOOP (2) outputs a TV signal via the So World TV tuner or the So World TV’s other interfaces e.g. AV or HDMI video signal outputs. - Page 8 Connect the AV IN and set-top box or satellite TV receiver and make sure the output of the set-top box or satellite TV receivers works well. Turn on the TV and select AV mode. Turn on the So World TV and select AV IN on the menu. The TV program displays on screen and is ready to record.

Connect one end of the RJ45 cable to the So World TV and the PC and connect to the video output. Press “set-up” key or select “set-up” menu in the start-up interface. Select the “Network” option in the set-up window and press “ENTER” to confirm. - Page 11 USB cable and wait about 10 seconds then connect again. Browser: Browse and play the media files. With this function, you can browse movie, photo and music files stored on the HDD, card, net work and USB drive by pressing the “Up” and “Down” navigation keys to choose the source devices and pressing the “ENTER” key to confirm. A thumbnail strip appears at the bottom of the screen, along with song information. Press “Up” and “Down” navigation keys to select the file you want to play and press ENTER.

If there is playable CD in the drive, and the DVD automatic play option in the So World TV’s system is on, the drive will start playing the CD automatically.

Playlist The So World TV offers the playlist function, which allows you to add your favorite content to a playlist. The Playlist allows you to select music files, photos and videos stored on your HDD. To build your playlist, enter the folder, select the file and press [SELECT] to add the selected files to the playlist, then press [CONFIRM]. -

TELETEXT: press the TELETEXT key on the remote control, you can view the information about DVB-related advertising that contains information such as the menu. Internet Services If the So World TV is connected corectly to the Internet (for details refer to the wired LAN set-up or wireless set-up), you can enjoy internet services. Internet Services include various kinds of services on line, by which you can browse Video, News, and Photos on the internet without using your PC. - Page 31 News If you want to browse news, you just need to click the news website icon ( Such as BBC News, CNN News, NPR News) on the main interface by pressing the navigation key on the remote control and pressing the OK key to confirm. Then you can enter the news management interface.For example, if you click the BBC News icon, you will find the interface which includes News Front Page, Business News, Asia-pacific, etc.

If you want to search photos, just click the title Search Photos, the screen will display a keyboard interface used to input the content you want to search (such as dog), and press OK key to confirm, so you are able to browse all the photos about dogs, then you just need press navigation key to select you are interested. -

Off/On,when it is on ,the movie can be previewed on the lower right corner of the screen. Off/On. Wireless Set-up (in option with a dongle Antenna) You need to use a compatible USB Wi-Fi dongle to use this function. Though, some models could not work with the So World TV. Press [Set-up] on remote control and select NETWORK. Then, choose Modify. Please select INFRASTRUCTURE or PEER TO PEER. - Page 37 Note: In the Security list, WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) and WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access) means the network is encrypted, i.e. an encryption key is needed to access the network. NONE means it is an open system network. 1)WLAN Security Setting After enter the password, select [OK], A test connection will start.

If the BT/Samba is not yet installed, please install it first. Copy the four installation files (.ipk) in the BT/Sambar installation package to the root directory in the U disk, and insert it into the So World TV’s USB host port. Finally select HDD Format in the System menu under the Set-up interface. -
