Retrofit Installation Instructions
Secure Weight
Ensure the existing weight is secured with the latch and lock-out mechanism.
Replace Alignment Pins
Unscrew existing alignment pins and replace them with the new 3-hole pins.

Move weight plates to the upper position and insert pins as shown.

Hang Remaining Cables
Disengage the remaining cables from the weight compartment and hang them over rollers.
Remove Shaft Bolt and Roller
Detach the shaft bolt and the roller engaged with the three cables.
Route Chain-Cable Assembly
Loop the chain-cable assembly over the center roller and reinstall the retention bolt.
Install Weight Off-Load Rollers
Assemble and install the weight off-load roller components into the top beam.
Thread Sprocket Onto Shaft
Manually thread the sprocket onto the shaft, ensuring bolt passage through the beam.
Install Gear Guard, Gear, and Nut
Position and install the gear guard, gear, and nut onto the shaft threads.
Install Inner Gear Guard and Gear
Attach the inner gear guard and gear on the opposite shaft hex side.
Route Cables and Install Outer Guard
Route cables, install outer gear guard with pawl, and chain spacer.
Install Pawl and Outer Gear Guard
Install the pawl, outer gear guard, and tighten the nut for smooth operation.
Drive Spring Pins
Drive spring pins into the inner gear guard on both sides.
Install E-clip Retaining Rings
Install E-clips into the small groove on the shaft and nut on both sides.
Install Wheel
Attach the wheel using a washer and socket head screw, using the wheel to torque.
Secure Center Chain Clasp
Re-engage the center lifting eye connecting link with the chain clasp.
Re-engage Cable Loops
Re-engage the cable loops with the lift eye connecting links.
Apply Weight Decals
Apply the correct weight decals to the stand to indicate capacity.
Install Chain Guard
Install the chain guard by engaging adhesive strips with the top beam flanges.
Remove Hold Down Post & Apply Label
Remove the original hold down post and apply the warning label to the stand.
Install Interface Brackets
Mount the two interface brackets on the lifting bar in the specified positions.
Attach Lifting Bar Subassembly
Connect the lifting bar subassembly to the cable eyes using screws and nuts.
Place Adapter Brackets
Position the adapter brackets on the Aero Stand cradle at the front and end.
Install Umbilical Cable
Install the umbilical cable, ensuring proper electrical connection ends are positioned.
Place Press on Cradle and Pins
Place the press bottom beam on the cradle and the top beam with pins.
Screw Adapter Brackets
Screw M8 x 20 socket head screws into the adapter brackets to secure them.
Check and Adjust Cable Tension
Check cable tensions, adjust counterweight lifting eye engagement for balance.
Operation
Lifting and Lowering Upper Beam
Describes pawl lever positioning for lifting and lowering the press beam.
