Assembly

Shaft Assembly
Align grooves on upper and lower shafts. Push shafts together until fully seated. Secure with locking sleeve assembly.
Handle Adjustment
Loosen wing nut on handle. Rotate handle to upright position and retighten wing nut. Ensure it remains above safety label.

How to Start Your Unit
Starting a Cold Engine
Prime bulb 6 times, move choke to full, squeeze throttle, pull rope. Adjust choke as needed.
Starting a Warm Engine
Move choke to half position, squeeze throttle, pull rope. Move choke to run position after starting.
Operating Instructions
Operating Position
Always wear PPE. Do not lean over trimmer head. Release throttle to idle when not cutting.
Trimmer Line Advance
Tap trimmer head lightly on ground to advance line. Use maximum allowed length. Keep shield in place.
Cutting Methods
Use minimum speed and do not crowd line. Tip of the line does the cutting.
Trimming and Mowing
Trim 3 inches above ground. For delicate trees, shorten line and use less throttle. Use full throttle for mowing.
