Getting Started
Step 1: Unpacking
Check that you have received the following items with the VCR.
Step 2: Setting up the remote commander
Insert batteries and set the TV/VIDEO switch for operation.
Step 3: Connecting the VCR
Connect the aerial cable and mains lead to the VCR and TV.
Step 4: Tuning your TV to the VCR
Follow steps to ensure your TV properly receives video signals from the VCR.
Step 5: Setting up the VCR with the Auto Set Up function
Use Auto Set Up to automatically set language, channels, guide channels, and clock.
Step 6: Setting the clock
Set the time and date manually or automatically for timer features.
Selecting a language
Change the on-screen display language from the one selected during Auto Set Up.
Presetting channels
Manually preset channels if Auto Set Up did not complete successfully.
Changing/disabling programme positions
Modify programme positions or disable unused ones.
Changing the station names
Change or enter station names (up to 5 characters) for channel information.

Simplify timer programming by entering a ShowView number from the TV guide.

Preset timer recordings for programmes by setting date, time, and position.
