Polaris Tail Sweep Pro Installation Instructions

1. Introduction
Tail Sweep Pro is the latest in technology from Polaris
that enhances the sweeping flow of the sweephose while
preventing squirting from the pool. If you have any
questions or if any parts are missing, please call your
local Polaris distributor for assistance. For technical
assistance, please contact our Technical Support Depart-
ment at 1.800.822.7933.
2. Installation Instructions
1. Turn off the booster pump followed by the filtra-
tion pump and remove the cleaner from the pool.
2. Remove the existing scrubber from the end of the
sweep hose (if present) and discard.
3. Ensure there is a wear ring positioned between the
orifice tip and the first weight on the sweep hose.
If necessary, reposition the first wear ring on the
sweep hose so that it is between the orifice tip cap
and the first weight, as shown in Figure 1.

4. Slide the first weight towards the orifice tip cap to
loosely capture the first wear ring. See Figure 1.
5. Press the Tail Sweep Pro onto the sweep hose
assembly until it snaps into place. See Figures 2
and 3.
6. Turn on the filtration pump followed by the
booster pump, and verify the sweep hose flow
moves in a gentle sweeping motion rather than
a rapid whipping action. Water should no longer
spray out of the pool.
