ALZO 100 MACRO STUDIO CAMERA SUPPORT ASSEMBLY
Note that the riser shown here is black and the standard riser is clear anodise.
The Camera riser support of the ALZO 100 Macro
studio includes:
1 – Base Platform
2 - Camera Riser Support with quick release
3 - Parts - bolt, washer, wrench and thumb screw.
1) Place the Base Platform on its edge, position the
bottom of the Riser over the hole in the base and
fasten the Riser with the large washer and bolt. The
riser tilts over the base as shown below.
Tighten the bolt with the supplied wrench until the riser
does not rotate on the base. Do not over tighten the
bolt.
2) Install the thumb screw into the back of the Riser
camera mount. This thumb screw is used to lock the
vertical position of the camera mount.

3) Adjust Rack Gear Drag
It may be necessary to adjust friction of the rack gear
that controls the drag of the camera on the Riser. With
the camera off of the Riser, insert a small Phillips head
screw driver under the camera quick release and
tighten the "Friction Adjust Screw" to increase the drag.
4) The camera quick release includes a black plastic
thread protector and a 3/8" x 16 thread adapter. These
should be removed for most cameras with 1/4" x 20
camera thread mounts.
The ALZO 100 Macro Studio camera support is now
ready for use.
The camera quick release has a brass safety latch.
With the safety latch in the UP position (as shown) the
release lever will release the camera Quick Release
mounting plate. With the safety latch rotated to the left
and down, the camera Quick Release mounting plate
is locked in place and will not release.
