INSTALLATION HINTS: Open jalousie window and remove the louvre slats (glass, wood or metal)
by sliding towards you. It may be necessary to bend the bracket upper leg down slightly.
Slip security clips over both ends of slat(Fig. A). Use pliers to gently conform clip to the size and
shape of the slat (Fig. B). Use caution when crimping over glass slats, as breakage can occur.
Open bracket lower leg to allow 5/16" clearance. Re-install louvre slat, with security clip attached,
into the appropriate retainer brackets. Note: Lift back leg of security clip and allow to straddle the
bracket upper leg (Fig. C). Attach retainer clip as shown. Bottom leg of clip slips between louvre
slat and brakcet. Top leg of clip (with flared lip) slips over security clip, just above the locking detent.
