1. Connect the USB cable and power adapter.
DC 12V Power Port
2. Connect U.2 NVMe SSD to the MB931U-1VB R1.
3. Switch the power button to the right to turn on the device.
Note:
1. Make sure to turn off the device's power before installing or removing the drives.
2. 2.Due to compatibility reasons, the transfer speed may drop to 3.2 Gen 1
(5Gbps) when using certain U.2 SSDs or operating systems. If you are
experiencing any performance issues, please get in touch with our customer
support team.
3. Please check the drive compatibility list on the ICY DOCK website before
purchasing a U.2 SSD.

1. Connect the USB cable.
2. Connect 2.5" SATA drive or M.2 SATA SSD to the device. Avoid connecting both
2.5" SATA and M.2 drives simultaneously.
3. Switch the power button to the right to turn on the device.
Note:
1. Make sure to turn off the device's power before installing or removing the drives.
2. When installing 2.5" SATA and M.2 drives simultaneously, the system will only
detect M.2 SSD.
3. This device does not support drives that use 12V power.
4. The drive's connector might get oxidized over time and causes poor drive detection.
It is recommended to use a rubber eraser or alcohol to clean the connector
when it happens.

1. Connect 2.5" SATA drive or M.2 SATA/NVMe SSD to the device. Avoid
connecting both 2.5" SATA and M.2 drives simultaneously.
2. Connect the USB cable.
Note:
1. For M.2 NVMe SSD that does not support the hot-plug function, it is suggested
to install the M.2 NVMe SSD before connecting the USB cable.
2. When installing 2.5" SATA and M.2 drives simultaneously, the system will only
detect 2.5" drive.
3. This device does not support drives that use 12V power.
4. The drive's connector might get oxidized over time and causes poor drive detection.
