Since our beginning, SunJack has gained the attention of press and media worldwide for its combination of durability,
portability and powerful charging speeds. SunJack is the perfect accessory for your active outdoor lifestyle and is essential
for any disaster, emergency and hurricane prep kit for survival. With SunJack as your personal power companion, simply
plug in and power up. Never be caught without power!
HOW TO USE:
1. Remove the solar panel from the case and unfold the SunJack solar panel.
2. Ensure each panel receives direct sunlight. If sunlight is directly overhead, lay the panel flat on the ground. If
sunlight is at an angle as opposed to directly overhead, remove the kickstand brackets from the carry case's pocket
and configure the brackets and solar panel so each panel is directly facing the sun.
3. Connect the included adapter cable's MC4 plugs to the solar panel's MC4 output plugs. Connect the appropriate
branch cable plug on the adapter cable to the device being charged.
4. When the solar panels are exposed to sunlight, your device will begin charging.
TIPS & TROUBLESHOOTING:
● The solar panel performs best when receiving full, direct sunlight. When necessary, use the included kickstand
brackets - the solar panel performs best when the angle between the panel and sunlight is close to 90 degrees.
● Windows, screens, partial shade and indirect sunlight can reduce performance and power output.
● While the solar panel can directly charge your device, it does not itself store solar power for later use. We recommend
using a power station to store the power generated by the solar panel.
● Ensure the solar panel's Open Circuit Voltage (48 V) is within the device's acceptable range of input voltage. Otherwise,
a reduced rate of charge or damage to the device may occur.
● An MC4 adapter cable has been included for your convenience. The cable's main branch cable plugs are designed to
connect to the solar charger's MC4 output plugs, and the branch cables are designed to connect to the electronic
device with compatible input plugs. The gauge of the cable is 12AWG with a maximum operating current of 28 amps.
● This solar charger can be connected in series or parallel. When connected either in series or parallel, ensure that each
solar panel has the same rated voltage and that appropriate accessories are used. You must also ensure the device
you are connecting to the solar panels can accept the new/updated output charge.
● The solar panel can become very hot when in use. Do not lay the panel directly on top of the device being charged -
this can cause the device to overheat and stop receiving charge, or cause damage to the device.
● The solar panel and MC4 output plugs are waterproof, rated IP68. However, out of caution do not submerge the MC4
plugs in water.
