Since our beginning, SunJack has gained the attention of press and media worldwide for its combination of durability,
portability and powerful charging speeds. SunJack is the perfect accessory for your active outdoor lifestyle and is essential
for any disaster, emergency and hurricane prep kit for survival. With SunJack as your personal power companion, simply
plug in and power up. Never be caught without power!
HOW TO USE:
1. Remove the solar panel from the case and unfold the SunJack solar panel.
2. Ensure each panel receives full, direct sunlight. If sunlight is directly overhead, lay the panel flat on the ground. If
sunlight is at an angle, open the kickstands and angle the solar panels toward the sun.
3. Connect or plug your device into the appropriate output port.
4. When the solar panels are exposed to sunlight, your device will begin charging.
TIPS & TROUBLESHOOTING:
● The solar panel performs best when receiving full, direct sunlight. When necessary, use the integrated kickstands - the
solar panel performs best when the angle between the panel and sunlight is close to 90 degrees.
● Windows, screens, partial shade and indirect sunlight can reduce performance and power output.
● When charging via USB-C, ensure each panel is angled directly toward the sun. If direct sunlight conditions are not
possible, charge via the USB-A port.
● While the solar panel can directly charge your device, it does not itself store solar power for later use. We recommend
using a power bank or power station to store the power generated by the solar panel.
● The panels can charge multiple devices simultaneously. However, the total available power produced by the solar
panels will be shared between the multiple devices. When charging large devices that use most of the available power,
multiple device charging may not be possible.
● When using the MC4 plugs to charge a device, ensure the solar panel's Open Circuit Voltage (25.1 V) is within the
device's acceptable range of input voltage. Otherwise, a reduced rate of charge or damage to the device may occur.
● An MC4 adapter cable has been included for your convenience. The cable's main branch cable plugs are designed to
connect to the solar charger's MC4 output plugs and the branch cables are designed to connect to the electronic
device with compatible input plugs. The gauge of the cable is 14AWG with a maximum operating current of 9.4 amps.
● The solar panel and output ports are waterproof – the USB ports are rated IP67, and the solar panel and MC4 plugs
are rated IP68. However, out of caution do not submerge the junction box or MC4 plugs in water.
● The solar panel can become very hot when in use. Do not lay the panel directly on top of the device being charged -
this can cause the device to overheat and stop receiving charge, or cause damage to the device.
