OPERATING PROCEDURES
1. Follow all installation, ventilation, and safety
information.
2. Position heater properly before use as described
under Safety Requirements. Locate heater on
stable and level surface. Make sure strong drafts
do not blow into front or rear of heater.
3. Connect POL fitting of hose and regulator assembly
to propane cylinder by rotating POL nut counter-
clockwise into propane cylinder's valve outlet and
securely tighten with a wrench.
4. Connect hose to heater.
5. Securely tighten all gas connections.
6. Open propane supply valve on propane tank(s) slowly.
Note: If not opened slowly, excess-flow check valve
on propane tank will stop gas flow. If this happens,
close propane supply valve and open again slowly.
7. Check all gas connections with a soap and water
solution. DO NOT USE A FLAME.
8. Connect power cord to well-grounded 120v,
60Hz,1Ø source of power.
9. Press fuel button.
10. After heater ignites, continue to hold fuel button
pressed for 15 seconds, then release.
11. Adjust burn rate with knob.
TO STOP HEATER
1. Securely close valve on propane cylinder.
2. Continue to operate heater until all fuel in hose
has burned.
3. Unplug power cord.
TO RESTART HEATER
1. Securely close valve at propane cylinder.
2. Wait 5 minutes.
3. Restart heater.
