Installation Kit Instructions
Overview:
The HydroCheck Sensor Installation Kit was designed to provide additional reliability
to the HC6000v2 and HC6000-PRO product series where water with high mineral or
iron content may be present. Mounting the sensors to a PVC pipe that is distanced
from the pump's discharge pipe helps to prevent the sensors from experiencing "false
triggers" that can occur when the environment is highly conductive. For more
information about this type of installation, visit our website at

Additional Materials (NOT INCLUDED):
• 3/4" Internal Diameter PVC Pipe (Length Specific to User's Application)
• Flat-Head Screw Driver
Step-by-Step Installation:
Pass the 1 1/2" hose clamp (B)
1.
through the smaller side of the
bracket (D). Then, pass the 2 1/4"
hose clamp (C) through the larger
side of the bracket (D).
2.
Using the provided tie wrap, secure
the red sensor (E) to the 3/4" PVC
pipe (A) where the pump is intended
to turn on. NOTE: Recommended
height for the red sensor is slightly
below the water inlet pipe.
3.
Using the provided tie wrap, secure
the black sensor (F) to the 3/4" PVC
pipe (A) where the pump is intended
to turn off. The sensor's tip should
extend past the end of the 3/4"
PVC pipe (A).
4.
Insert the 3/4" PVC pipe (A) into
the 1 1/2" hose clamp (B) so that
the bracket (D) is positioned above
the red sensor (E). Tighten the
1 1/2" hose clamp (B) until the 3/4"
PVC pipe (A) is held firmly against
the bracket (D). NOTE: Do NOT
over-tighten.
5.
Position the 2 1/4" hose clamp (C)
on the discharge pipe (G) so that
the sensors are at the desired
height in the pit. Tighten the 2 1/4"
hose clamp (C) until the bracket (D)
is held firmly in place against the
discharge pipe (G). NOTE: Do NOT
over-tighten.
