Operating Instructions For
1 Introduction 4 Button Functions
The CLIKR TM -5 UR5L-8700L & UR5L-8720L
CLIKR ™ -5
are designed to operate the Scientific-
Atlanta, Pioneer, Pace Micro, Samsung and
Motorola digital set tops, plus the majority

2 Replacing Batteries
Before you program or operate the remote
control, you must install two new AA alkaline
batteries.
STEP1 Remove the battery compartment cover
on the back of your remote control.
STEP2 Check battery polarity carefully, and
install the batteries as shown in the
illustration below.
STEP3 Replace the battery compartment cover.

5 Programming the Remote Control
DEFAULT STATE: There are two ways you can program your CLIKR
Component Default: CABLE Set Top Box (STB)
* The Pre-Programmed 3-Digit Code Method
Channel Default: CABLE channel and numbers * The Auto-Search Method
* The Learning Method
