1. Determine which vent pipe is to be fitted with the Cyclone™ RV Holding Tank Vent
(Black Water, Grey Water or both).
2. Carefully remove existing RV vent cap.
3. Remove any remaining sealant and clean thoroughly, being extremely careful not to damage RV roof. (If damage
does occur, use Camco's Pro-Tec™ RV Rubber Roof Patch Kit to repair before continuing.)
4. Slip faceplate over vent pipe.
5. Carefully slide Cyclone™ intake pipe onto existing vent pipe as far as possible, without pushing or pulling on the
Cyclone's head. Cyclone™ RV Holding Tank Vent needs to be able to rotate freely in order to work efficiently.
6. To ensure Cyclone™ remains in place during motion, slide faceplate up Cyclone™ intake pipe and very carefully
drill 3 holes through the intake and vent pipe with a 3/32" drill bit (space holes evenly apart) as close as possible
to the bottom of the intake pipe (otherwise the screws will protrude past the faceplate).
7. Insert screws and tighten until snug. Do not over tighten.
8. Caulk areas listed below to ensure assembly is water tight and can draw odors out most effectively. Allow caulk
to cure per manufacturer's instructions:
a. Around intake pipe base between Cyclone™ intake and vent pipe
b. Between faceplate and intake pipe
c. Between faceplate and roof
