SOLAR LANTERN
BATTERY REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS
If your Solar Lantern stops lighting up even with 6-8
hours of direct sunlight, you may need to replace the
battery as follows:
a. Remove frame support wire and collapse the lantern
flat to allow access to the bottom of the solar
housing
b. Slide the ON/OFF switch to OFF (see figure 1)
c. Lift the battery door from the edge that reads LIFT
(see figure 1) and remove the door to expose the
battery compartment (see figure 2)
d. Remove existing AAA battery and replace with the
new rechargeable AAA battery.
e. Replace door and snap completely closed, slide
ON/OFF switch to ON, and reassemble lantern.
