6. Kronen Küchengeräte GmbH grants a function warranty of 6 months for each and every original Kronen Küchengeräte spare part, provided that it has been installed correctly. Kronen Küchengeräte GmbH shall provide an original part in the event of failure. No further claims, including claims for the cost of the replace- ment, can be acknowledged.

Intended Use The hand mixer is a technical tool which exclusively should be used for its’ in- tended purpose. It is only intended to soups, sauces, stews and purees to emulsification, to mix or beat. Any different use of the machine is strictly forbidden. A misuse of the machine could occur if the cap nut and the mixer was not screwed to the engine.

Installation and Function Accordance with the hand mixer fitted mixer bars processed soups, sauces, stews, purees or similar. The hand mixer is dipped into the kettle with the feed to be processed. Included in delivery Delivery includes the motor, the cap nut and a EMA-bar or mixer bar. Controls The hand mixer has an ON / OFF switch (5) this starts or stops the motor. On the control knob (6), the desired speed is infinitely vari- able. Safety Appliance The safety appliance consists of: Starting the machine by pushing the ON / OFF switch (5). Engine overheating protection that turns off engine immediately if there is any possibility of overheating.

Transportation and Packaging Always transport the cutter in the intended box. Secure the hand mixer during transportation. Check the box of possible damages when the machine is shipped. In case of damages, talk to the responsible shipping company. Open the box by slicing the tape with a tape cutter. Do not use sharp knives. Lift the hand mixer out of the box and put it on the table.
Installation and Initial Operation The hand mixer is shipped ready for use. Before the initial operation of the mixer, the bar must be mounted. Push the cap nut (2) on the upper part of the mixer bar (3/4) and tighten the cap nut (2) fixed to the motor block (1).
Use and Operating Safety instruction for operating the cutter Switch on the hand mixer until it is in the liquid. Never get the mixer bar during the working process of the liquid, there is a risk of splashing. The hand mixer, hold them by the handle the motor block and the handle of the hand mixer to prevent burns on heated mixing bar.

Turning on To turning on the hand mixer it must be connected to the electricity supply and the mixer bar has to be mounted with the cap nut firmly to the motor block. Dip the hand mixer with maximum 2/3 his total lengths in the liquid dip.

Turning off To turn off the hand mixer you leave this in the liquid and turn the ON / OFF switch (5) to "0". The hand mixer is now turned off and can be lifted from the liquid. The hand mixer is turned off before it is lifted from the liq- uid.

Assembly and disassembly of the mixer bar For the assembly of the mixer bar you push the cap nut (2) on the upper part of the mixer bar (3/4) and screw the cap nut (2) firmly onto the motor block (1). For the disassembly of the mixer bar you solve the cap nut (2) of the motor block (1).

Assembly and disassembly of the knife and rotor For cleaning or replacement the rotor of the EMA-bar or the blade of the mixer bar can be un- screwed. To do this, first remove the EMA bar or the mixer bar from the mo- tor block.

Working with the EMA-bar The EMA-bar (3) is provided to soups, sauces, stews and purees to emulsification, or to mix and beat. Put the hand mixer at a slight angle into the liquid, make sure that the maximum im- mersion depth is not exceeded, and the rotor doesn’t touch the ground floor of the pot.

Instruction Manual EMA-55 Working with the kettle holder For longer works in a large pot, it is rec- ommended that the pot holder (7) to use. First fix the kettle holder (7) on the kettle. Hang the kettle holder at the edge of the pot and turn the screw firmly.

Cleaning Before you use the hand mixer the first time make sure you clean it thoroughly. Also, clean the hand mixer multiple times during the day after use. Always use standard cleansers for cleaning the hand mixer. The motor block from the hand mixer is only protected against splash water.
Malfunctions Safety instructions In case of unfamiliar noises or decreasing power turn of the hand mixer immediately. In case of blockage turn of the hand mixer and unplug the hand mixer from the outlet. After doing this you can try to remove the blocking material.

Maintenance Safety Instructions Maintenance, if not specifically mentioned, is not to be done by the user. Maintenance is done by customer ser- vice only. Abrasion Engine and gearbox bearing are lubricated for their whole lifetime. In case the bearing is defect, customer service has to exchange them. The knives have a natural abrasion.
