ASSEMBLING ZYP Remove all contents from the box. Remove the protective packaging material from the Zyp. Check the box to make sure no parts are left inside before discarding. Stand the Zyp up and engage the kickstand. INSTALL THE STEERING COLUMN 1.

INSTALL THE FOOTRESTS 1. Thread each footrest onto the pegs at the sides of the Zyp. 2. Start twisting each footrest clockwise by hand to tigthen. Twist each footrest until they are sufficiently threaded onto the pegs and mostly tightened.
45 psi. CONTROLS TURNING YOUR ZYP ON/OFF To power the Zyp on, insert the key into the starter and turn it clockwise. Turn the key counterclockwise to power it off. ACCELERATE/BRAKE To accelerate, twist the throttle on the right handlebar. To brake, release the throttle and squeeze the brake levers.

WARNING Any Zyp that does not work properly can cause you to lose control and crash. Do not ride a Zyp with a part that is damaged. Replace the damaged part before riding. • Ensure the battery is fully charged before riding your e-scooter.
Different localities and countries have different laws governing riding on public roads, and you should check with local officials to ensure you are complying with these laws. Hover-1 is not liable for tickets or violations given to riders who do not follow local laws and regulations.

• Use your best judgment to keep yourself out of dangerous situations with your Zyp. • Do not ride your Zyp off of curbs, ramps, or attempt to operate it in a skate park or empty pool. Misuse of your Zyp voids the manufacturer warranty and may lead to injury or damage.

• Do not ride your Zyp near motor vehicles or on public roads. • Do not travel up or down steep hills. • The Zyp is intended for use by a single individual. DO NOT attempt to operate the Zyp with two or more people.

Make sure the Zyp is fully charged before your first use. Make sure the tires are inflated to 35-45 psi. When you are ready to ride, turn on the Zyp by inserting the key into the starter and turning the key clockwise.

• To preserve battery life and the performance of your Zyp, it is recommended that you charge it after each ride. If you store the Zyp for an extended period of time without use, be sure to keep it in a cool, dry environment. Ocasionally charge the battery to prevent the battery from losing its ability to hold a charge.
BATTERY MAINTENANCE • When charging the e-scooter, only use the enclosed charging cable provided by Hover-1. Use of any other charger or cable may lead to damage to the e-scooter, overheating, and risk of fire. Use of any other charger or cable voids the manufacturer warranty.

• Do not attempt to modify, change, or replace your battery. • Do not use your Zyp if the battery begins to emit odor, leaks, overheats, makes strange noises, or changes in shape or color.
• Do not dispose of the Zyp in fire as it may explode or combust. • Do not let the Zyp come into contact with sharp objects, as this will cause scratches and damage.
