GENERAL INFORMATION Auto-Darkening welding helmets are designed to protect the eye and face from sparks, spatter and harmful radiation under normal welding conditions. Grasp the wire connector end of the auto-darkening filter (which is connected to the external grinding button), and gently pull it out of the circular socket (See fig.9a). -
